話說紐西蘭有一座火山狀似日本的富士山。這是今年2021年1月份突發奇想的旅行。經歷過去年封城後，終於踏出離家約200公里遠外的城市，在此分享一下在辛普利茅斯的三天兩夜遊。
辛普利位於紐西蘭北島的西海岸，離漢米爾頓約235公里(近3小時的車程)。後面一小時的山路有點像台北-宜蘭的九彎十八拐，會暈車的人可能建議在中間小鎮 Te Kuiti 蒂顧伊蒂休息一下。
除了開車前往之外，也可以從奧克蘭轉國內班機約50分鐘的航程即可抵達。

You may heard there is a volcanic mountain in New Zealand that looks like Mt Fuji in Japan. Well, this is the right place to view Mt Taranaki which is located in the Taranaki region (West coast in North Island). It takes around 3 hours to drive from Hamilton, however only 50mins flight from Auckland domestic airport. The New Plymouth airport is also quite close to the city center, less than 15 mins drive.

Pukekura Park 市中心公園 (面積約52個足球場)
這個城市出發前我們並沒有做很多功課，想說到了再看看! 碰巧遇到當地市中心公園占地52公頃一年一度的燈光秀,免費入場。非常令人驚喜的地方!
As it was a spontaneous trip, we didn't plan to organize anything specific. However, it was a really nice surprise to find out there was the biggest night light show at central Pukekura Park (52 ha) so impressive to wander around and discover all the hidden lighting displays!

Tupare Garden 突裴瑞花園
這是一座耗時12年才建成的私人莊園，不收門票免費參觀，1930年在英國商人馬修夫妻的蜜月旅行後，他們決定在這修建自己的莊園。裡面有英式房屋，網球場，沿路各種花色的繡球花非常之美麗! 此莊園在2002年由英女皇基金會贈送給當地的區政府來管轄，供民眾參觀辦活動。
Tupare Garden used to be private owned by Mrs. and Mr. Matthew family. It was built in 1930 after their honeymoon in England and the USA, and it took 12 years to complete. It is free of charge. There is a cottage, tennis court along with all the colorful and magnificent hydrangeas.
