紐西蘭 泰唔士 Thames, New Zealand  金礦遺跡參觀官網 Goldmine Experience Homepage 紐西蘭有個城鎮，跟流經英國倫敦和劍橋的河流有著一樣的名字。即便這個城鎮在今天已經漸漸沒落人口外移。在19世紀初，這裡可是紐國數一數二的大城市跟但尼丁不相上下，蓬勃發展的原因跟許多掏金城市相似，因金礦而大起大落。但吸引我的地方是，即便人口不如以往的多，但市區遍地的歷史建築林立，彷彿坐著時光機回到百年前，建築們各自訴說著人們的故事! While one of the most famous river in the world named Thames which flows through Oxford and London in England. Similarly, there is a town called Thames where locates in the Coromandel region on the top of North Island in New Zealand. Perhaps, there are not many people have ever been there before, however it was one of the biggest Gold-mining city in New Zealand in the end of the 19th century. By visiting those historical locations in the town centre, it seems like we were taking the time machine back to the hundred years ago. 

紐西蘭 辛普利茅斯 ( 北島西海岸) New Plymouth, New Zealand (West Coast of North Island) 藍天白雲讓人自覺的拋空了一切煩惱 Spectacular beach view makes people almost forget the pandemic still happening 話說紐西蘭有一座火山狀似日本的富士山。這是今年2021年1月份突發奇想的旅行。經歷過去年封城後，終於踏出離家約200公里遠外的城市，在此分享一下在辛普利茅斯的三天兩夜遊。 辛普利位於紐西蘭北島的西海岸，離漢米爾頓約235公里(近3小時的車程)。後面一小時的山路有點像台北-宜蘭的九彎十八拐，會暈車的人可能建議在中間小鎮 Te Kuiti 蒂顧伊蒂休息一下。 除了開車前往之外，也可以從奧克蘭轉國內班機約50分鐘的航程即可抵達。 You may heard there is a volcanic mountain in New Zealand that looks like Mt Fuji in Japan. Well, this is the right place to view Mt Taranaki which is located in the Taranaki region (West coast in North Island). It takes around 3 hours to drive from Hamilton, however only 50mins flight from Auckland domestic airport. The New Plymouth airport is also quite close to the city center, less than 15 mins drive.  一望無際的藍，提醒了我當年在 南法尼斯 和摩納哥見到得蔚藍海岸  Endless blue sea remind me of the French Riviera near Nice and Monaco Winter view of Mt Taranaki.
